Our family was once again happy to entertain friends and neighbors with a chili or soup dinner before they ventured out Trick or Treating through the neighborhood. It had rained most of the day but by dark it had cleared and then turned a little foggy here and there--perfectly creepy for Halloween!! And it wasn't at all cold--maybe due to the fog--making it a perfect night for the kids & parents to wander the neighborhood. Great weather this year! A few of our overachieving neighbors had set up haunted houses--so fun! We enjoyed all the kids (and some adults, too!) in their costumes and appreciate everyone who came to eat and hang out. Thanks for all the yummy food! After that all the young ones were ready to go trick-or-treating and the old folks (me & Scott) were ready for a nap. Your blog is looking good!
