Emily's Birthday

Emily turned 13 in June!! We keep saying she's had the attitude for awhile now--she might as well have the age to match! We decided to celebrate her birthday by going together as a family to the Tacoma Rainiers baseball game--it was a fun time and they had fireworks at the end of the game. She also wound up with a few presents and got to enjoy her favorite chocolate cake from Costco. I think she actually had the best part a few days before her birthday when she went on a "teenager shopping trip" with her Grandma Jo. Emily totally scored!! She was pretty excited to spend the day with Grandma and do (and buy!!) pretty much whatever she wanted. They golfed, had a nice lunch at Falls Terrace, went shopping at the mall, and had pedicures! A rough day, all in all. Happy 13th Em, we love you!!

Time for cake!!

A few goodies from Mom and Dad.

Lovely toenails!!

Thanking Grandma for all the wonderful gifts and the fun day!

Look at all the bags! Look at that smile! Whoever said you can't buy happiness doesn't remember being a teenager! Ha!

I'm glad to see you're blogging again! Ha ha. Looks like Emily really scored. Do you think Grandma Jo would take me shopping next year? Our birthdays are on the same day!
