Enjoying the Lights

We missed out on doing lots of our normal family traditions during Christmastime due to all the snow! One that we got to "make-up" after Christmas was going to our local zoo (Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma) after dark to see great Christmas lights! They totally deck out the whole place and it's fun to walk around the zoo looking for different lighted animal displays instead of the real thing. It was cold--but we prepared for it--and it started to drizzle just as we were leaving. Yeah! You can't really tell how magnificent it is from the pictures and if you haven't been I highly recommend you try it next December!
