It was a Merry Christmas!

I guess it's time to put some Christmas pictures up! I started to write something just after Christmas, got distracted, and never got back to it!! Go figure...We had a great Christmas celebration. We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. We had to wait for Luke to wake up on Christmas morning--he was very sleepy and didn't know what he was missing out on! The other kids were extra excited to come downstairs and see their gifts from Santa and open their stockings. We always pause the gift giving at this point to eat a yummy breakfast (thanks Ally for the monkey bread!) and then get back to the goodies. Luke wasn't that into opening presents but once he got a glimpse of what was under the wrapping he was pretty happy! He also loved getting into everyone else's things. After all the paper was torn away we spent the day playing games and eating snacks. Daryl went and picked up his sister, Dani, in the afternoon and she got to enjoy the aftermath with us! Everyone was spoiled and happy (at least for a few hours!!) and we were surrounded by love, warmth, and snow! Merry Christmas!
